Elmwood is STILL going GREEN!  Since our certification of a green school in 2013, we are continually achieving green school status.  This year the News Team announces once a week a green tip idea for the students.  The News Team does all the research themselves and maintains the “Green Tip of the Week” bulletin board located in the lobby.  We have 5th graders collecting all recyclable trash from classrooms at the end of the day and putting it into a larger recyclable bin to help the custodians and help keep us recycling.  One of our best projects this year so far, is the cafeteria recyclable trays.  We have limited our daily garbage trash by 2 huge bins!  We also recycle milk jugs, lids and plastic containers that our fruit comes in sometimes.  Way to go Elmwood.  Stay Green!!
